This warning was issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) as Commissioner Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada announced that she will do spot checks of national government agencies and local government units nationwide to check services provided.
“In all my regional visits, the formula will be the same. We will visit government offices at any given hour. We need to let government workers know that the CSC is monitoring them. Hindi ibig sabihin na nakapasok ka sa gobyerno ay wala na pong check. Paalala po sa lahat ng kawani ng gobyerno na gawin po natin ang nararapat lamang, magbigay ng mahusay at tapat na serbisyo sa kliyente natin,” explained CSC Commissioner Lizada.

Amid the current water shortage, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said that heads of agencies have the discretion to allow their employees to forego wearing office uniforms.
The CSC said that heads of agencies, including local government units, are authorized to issue internal rules suspending the wearing of office uniforms until the water shortage in National Capital Region and drought in other provinces in the Philippines is over.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) advised examinees of the upcoming March 17, 2019 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for both Professional and Subprofessional levels to determine their school assignment and visit the assigned school/testing venue beforehand to be familiar with the location and traffic situation.
Examinees may check the school assignments through the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA), enosa.csc.gov.ph/eNOSAv3/, posted on the CSC website. Those who are unable to access the ONSA may call the CSC Regional or Field Office where they filed their application or contact the CSC’s Contact Center ng Bayan. Seventy-seven (77) examinees passed this year’s Career Service Examination for Foreign Service Officer (CSE-FSO).
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) disclosed that the figure represents 16.70% of the total number of examinees that took the CSE-FSO on Jan. 27, 2019. The CSE-FSO was conducted in 10 regions.
Out of 461 examinees, Michael Joseph Ostique from the National Capital Region (NCR) topped the CSE-FSO with a rating of 85.85.
All top examinees were from NCR where most examinees came from. They are: Jose Mari Valenzuela and Michael Anton Estipona (84.88); Marthy Angue, Jopol Alvin Ancheta, and Manfred Neale Manalo (84.39); and Emmanuel Garcia, Danica Denise Manicad, Jeffrey Louis Ilagan, Anton Sandoval, Carlo Jejomar Pascual Sanchez, Kriezel Joy Daria, and Paul Gerard Caab (83.90).

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminded passers of the November 11, 2018 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held in National Capital Region (NCR) and Rizal to personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at CSC Regional Offices.
A total of 4,983 takers, from both the Professional and Sub-Professional levels, passed the said examinations.
The certification should be requested at the CSC Regional Office with jurisdiction over the examinee’s testing center. Thus, passers from NCR should claim the certification at CSC NCR located at No. 25 Kaliraya Street, Brgy. Doña Josefa, Quezon City; while those who took the test in Morong, Rizal should proceed to CSC Regional Office 4 located at 139 Panay Avenue, Quezon City.
