Examination Announcement No. 05, s. 2024
ANNOUNCEMENT
With reference to Examination Announcement Nos. 01 and 02 dated 08 February 2024 (on the conduct of FOE[1] and POE[2], respectively, for CY 2024), the height requirement provided in Republic Act No. 11549 dated 26 May 2021 also known as the “PNP, BFP, BJMP and BuCor Height Equality Act”, actually relates or pertains to recruitment/appointment in the agencies concerned.
In light of this, and for purposes of taking the FOE and POE, applicants not meeting the height requirement [i.e., at least 1.57m (5’2) for male, and 1.52m (5’0) for female] MAY BE ACCEPTED. After all, RA No. 11549 expressly provides that a waiver for height requirement shall be automatically granted to (job) applicants belonging to cultural communities/indigenous peoples.
