The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminded passers of the November 11, 2018 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held in National Capital Region (NCR) and Rizal to personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at CSC Regional Offices.

A total of 4,983 takers, from both the Professional and Sub-Professional levels, passed the said examinations.

The certification should be requested at the CSC Regional Office with jurisdiction over the examinee’s testing center. Thus, passers from NCR should claim the certification at CSC NCR located at No. 25 Kaliraya Street, Brgy. Doña Josefa, Quezon City; while those who took the test in Morong, Rizal should proceed to CSC Regional Office 4 located at 139 Panay Avenue, Quezon City.

The Certification of Eligibility is also given for those who passed the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) and the Special CSE-PPT both administered on October 14, 2018, and the CSE-PPT held August 12, 2018.

Representatives shall not be allowed to claim the certification on behalf of the passers.

The certification printed on CSC letterhead is free of charge and valid for two years. Passers must present at least one of the following ID cards which is preferably valid (not expired) upon claiming the certification: Driver’s License, Passport, PRC License, SSS ID, GSIS ID (UMID), Voter’s ID/Voter’s Certification, BIR ID (ATM type/TIN card type with picture), PhilHealth ID (must contain the holder’s name, clear picture, signature and PhilHealth number), Company/Office ID, School ID, Police Clearance/Police Clearance Certificate, Postal ID, Barangay ID, NBI Clearance, Seaman’s Book, HDMF Transaction Card, PWD ID, Solo Parent ID, Senior Citizen’s ID, or Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-CARD); along with the Application Receipt and/or CSC Official Receipt, if available.

Passers may also apply for regular Certification of Eligibility printed on security paper and has no validity period. They must submit a filled-out Eligibility/Exam Records Request Form and Declaration Form which may be downloaded from the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph, 1x1 picture with full name tag and signature, two valid IDs, and payment of Php100 per copy.

For passers who are presently based in or have moved to another region, or in remote areas within the region, they may personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional or Field Office (conduit CSC RO/FO) nearest their place of residence or work. They must send a written request to the CSC RO with jurisdiction over the testing venue where they took the examination, asking to forward the certification to their preferred conduit CSC RO/FO. In their written request, they must also cite their reasons for the request.

On the other hand, the CSC Eligibility Card is already available for passers of civil service eligibility examinations starting 2015. Those interested may proceed to the CSC Regional Office concerned and avail of the eligibility card at cost (PhP200).

For passers of 2016 examinations and thereafter, the CSC clarified that the printing of the eligibility card shall be decentralized to the CSC Regional Offices, adding that availing of the eligibility card shall be upon request. An advisory on the availability of the card for 2016 passers and thereafter, with the procedures and requirements on availing, shall be issued and posted on the CSC website.

Passers of the CSE-PPT held October 12, 2018 in Doha, Qatar may also claim their Certification of Eligibility at the Examination, Recruitment and Placement Office (ERPO), CSC Central Office, Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

They may also claim their certification at a conduit CSC RO/FO nearest their place of residence.
