Master Teacher I, Pablita R. Cabales from Manga National High School, DepEd Tagbilaran City Division, stood before His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr, to receive her award as 2022 Outstanding Government Worker at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall, Malacañang Palace on 8 March 2023.

Ms. Cabarles was recognized under the CSC Pagasa award category for transforming Manga National High School into a certified, integrated, diversified organic farming system learning site.  Through her efforts, the said school has become a benchmarking destination in the promotion of Agripreneurship. 

Along with this recognition, Ms. Cabarles received a gold-gilded medallion, a plaque signed by the Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission, and a cash reward of PHP200, 000.00. 

There were six (6) groups and 16 individuals recognized during the ceremony for their outstanding performance, contribution, achievement, and/or consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in public service.  As described by Senior Commissioner, Atty. Aileen Lourdes A. Lizada, they are our Lingkod Bayani who tackle common tasks in a way that maximizes impact, makes a difference, and meaningfully touches the lives of others.

After the conferment ceremony, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., conveyed his gratitude to the Civil Service Commission for holding this annual event which encourages workers from across the many government agencies to remain steadfast in fulfilling their oaths to the public. He also extended his congratulations to all the 2022 Outstanding Government Workers, “Congratulations on this recognition that proves you have done the extra mile in carrying out your mandate, making you agents of progress and source of inspiration in your respective sectors and communities.”

The awardees were billeted at the Manila Hotel with 3 days and 2 nights of accommodation.  This momentous event was witnessed by the CSC Officials, Heads of Agencies, and the Family Members of the Awardees.
