The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminds examinees to prepare for the upcoming Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) set on 15 March 2020.

Examinees should check their school assignments through the CSC’s Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA), enosa.csc.gov.ph/eNOSAv3/, posted on the CSC website. Those who will encounter problems accessing and obtaining school details from ONSA should directly call the CSC Regional or Field Office where they filed their application or contact the CSC’s Contact Center ng Bayan or send a message through the CSC Facebook Page, @civilservicegovph.

As a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019), examinees who exhibit flu-like symptoms on the day of exams are advised not to take the tests. Test administrators/examiners and examinees are also allowed to use face mask and bring alcohol-based hand sanitizers on examination day.

The CSC strictly implements a “No I.D., No Exam” policy—examinees must present a valid I.D. card on examination day, preferably the same I.D. card presented during the filing of application. If the I.D. card is different from the one presented during filing, the examinee must present any valid I.D. card under CSC’s unified list of I.D. cards accepted for transactions.

Examinees are advised to be at their assigned school/testing venue as early as 6:00 a.m. to verify and locate room assignment. Gates of testing venues will be closed to examinees at exactly 7:30 a.m. and those who will arrive later than 7:30 a.m. will not be admitted.

The CSC also reminded the examinees to wear proper attire. Sleeveless shirt/blouse, shorts/short pants, tokong pants, ripped jeans, and slippers are not allowed.

The Professional Level exam will run for 3 hours and 10 minutes with 150 test items and 20 items on examinee descriptive questionnaire (EDQ). The Subprofessional Level test, on the other, has 145 test items and 20 EDQ items to be answered in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Only black ball pens are allowed to be used in filling up the answer sheet. Gel pen, sign pen, fountain pen, friction pen, or any other kinds of pen, including other colors of ball pen are not allowed, the CSC stressed.
