Examinees of the February 2 Career Service Examination for Foreign Service Officer (CSE-FSO) may now visit or conduct an ocular inspection of their school assignments before the exam date.

The Civil Service Commission has released the list of the CSE-FSO’s testing centers and school assignments, and important reminders through CSC Examination Advisory No. 1, s. 2020. The Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) shall NOT be used, hence CSC advises all registered examinees to check the advisory and access updates through its Facebook Page (@civilservicegovph).

Conducted in collaboration with the DFA, the Qualifying Test is the first part of the five-part FSOE to recruit candidates for the Foreign Service Officer, Class IV position. DFA conducts the succeeding parts which constitute Preliminary Interview, Written Test, Psychological Test, and Oral Test.

Domingo, Quezon City; (Region 3) CSC Regional Office III, Diosdado Macapagal Government Center, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga; (Region 4) St. Anne College Lucena, Inc., Diversion Road, Brgy. Gulang-Gulang, Lucena City; (Region 5) Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation, Inc., Rawis, Legazpi City; (Region 6) CSC Regional Office VI, 7 Oñate St., Mandurriao, Iloilo City; (Region 7) University of Cebu-Banilad Campus Governor Cuenco Avenue, Banilad, Cebu City; (Region 8) Saint Paul’s School of Professional Studies (SPSPS), Campetic, Palo, Leyte; (Region 9) Don Pablo Lorenzo Memorial High School (DPLMHS), Governor Ramos Avenue, Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City; (Region 10) Liceo de Cagayan University-High School Campus, Calamansi Drive, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City; (Region 11) Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Km 2, McArthur Highway, Matina, Davao City; and (CAR) CSC CAR Learning & Development Center, 116 Wagner Road, Military Cut-off, Baguio City.

The CSC stressed that the upcoming exams will strictly observe the “No I.D., No Exam” policy. Examinees must present a valid I.D. card in the examination day, preferably the same I.D. card presented during the filing of application. If the I.D. card is different from the I.D. card presented during filing of application, the examinee must present ANY of the following accepted I.D. cards, which must be valid (not expired)—Driver’s License/Temporary Driver’s License (LTO O.R. must be presented together with old Driver’s License; O.R. alone is not allowed)/Student Driver’s Permit; Passport; PRC License; SSS I.D.; GSIS I.D. (UMID); Voter’s I.D./Voter’s Certification; BIR/Taxpayer’s I.D. (ATM type/TIN card type with picture); PhilHealth I.D. (must have the bearer’s name, clear picture, signature and PhilHealth number); Company/Office I.D.; School I.D.; Police Clearance/Police Clearance Certificate; Postal I.D.; Barangay I.D.; NBI Clearance; Seaman’s Book; HDMF Transaction I.D.; PWD I.D.; Solo Parent I.D.; or Senior Citizen’s I.D.

Examinees are advised to be as early as 6:00 a.m. for the verification and locating of room assignment. Gates of testing venues will be closed to examinees at exactly 7:30 a.m. and those who will arrive later than 7:30 a.m. will not be admitted. Failure to take the examination on scheduled date shall mean forfeiture of examination fee and slot. Re-scheduling of examination date is not allowed.

Only black ball pens are allowed to be used in filling up the answer sheets (gel pen, sign pen, fountain pen, friction pen, or any other kinds of pen, including other colors of ball pen are not allowed). The CSC also reminded the examinees to wear proper attire on examination day. Sleeveless shirt/blouse, short pants, and slippers are not allowed.
