Purple Treats: Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII Celebrates 2024 International Women's Day

8 March 2024. The Civil Service Commission, Regional Office VIII (CSC RO VIII) went “purple” as it joins the celebration of the International Women’s Day. A special gesture of recognizing women’s empowerment and achievement over the years, the different Regional Support Units and Field Offices of the CSC RO VIII prepared purple color goodies and tokens all for its clients to enjoy. The activity was filled with fun as the officials and employees had a creative field in the preparation of the activity.

Coincidentally, the National Women’s Month with the theme “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan!” runs the whole month of March with line-up of activities by the different government agencies and private organizations in honor of the women’s significant participation and contribution to the society.
