CSC RO VIII conducts Hybrid in-house training on RA No. 9184

As part of the annual Sound Financial and Administrative System Training Program, the Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII conducted a two-day Hybrid In-house Training on RA No. 9184 or the Government Procurement Reform Act (GPRA) and latest updates on its IRR on 26-27 April 2023.

As part of the annual Sound Financial and Administrative System Training Program, the Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII conducted a two-day Hybrid In-house Training on RA No. 9184 or the Government Procurement Reform Act (GPRA) and latest updates on its IRR on 26-27 April 2023. It was attended by all CSC RO VIII Officials and employees via face to face at the Excellence Hall, HRC Building, CSC RO VIII Palo, Leyte and for Field Office personnel via Zoom.

The said training was spearheaded by the Management Services Division with the aim of recalibrating the knowledge of CSC employees on the procurement process as well as address the concerns and issues encountered during the procurement of goods and services, including the clear delineations of roles and functions.

Ms. Florita L. Lacdo-o, DBM RO VIII’s Chief Budget Management Specialist and Director IV Imelda C. Laceras were invited to speak relative to the topics on Standard Bidding Procedures, Agency Procurement Compliance and Performance (APCPI), Procurement 101 and Alternative Mode of Procurement, respectively.
