Vying for a higher HR maturity level?

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) through the Civil Service Institute (CSI) is inviting all public sector human resource management officers (HRMOs) to HR Conversations, a one-day learning and development event on 25 October 2019 at the CSC Resource Center, Quezon City.

This is the second time CSC is offering HR Conversations, with the goal to help HR managers lead their organizations in vying for HR Maturity Level 2 under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management or PRIME-HRM.

To reach PRIME-HRM Maturity Level 2 or “process-defined HR”, an organization’s HR processes should be guided by a set of defined and documented standard operating procedures responsive to the agency’s unique needs. Automation should also already be used to a certain extent.

Under the PRIME-HRM, the CSC assesses a government agency’s systems, practices, and competencies of its Human Resource Management Office based on four core HRM systems, namely: recruitment, selection, and placement (RSP); performance management; learning and development; and rewards and recognition. The upcoming HR Conversations will focus on how to satisfy the requirements for process-defined RSP for agencies to develop strategies and become successful in transitioning to strategic HR.

HR Conversations aims to strengthen the role of HRMOs as they perform a host of HR functions in different areas. It serves as a platform where HR practitioners can share latest trends and best practices, or discuss common concerns and potential collaboration. Considering that HRMOs are the strategic partners of agency heads in ensuring optimum organizational performance, enhancing their skills on a regular basis will help them lead their agencies toward strategic HR.

Registration fee is PHP2,500 per participant. To register, go to this link: http://csi.csc.gov.ph/event/hr-conversations-2/. For queries, please coordinate with CSI’s Ms. Joie Minerva P. Agustin at (02) 8931-4182 or (02) 8931-7939 loc. 301.
