| SUBJECT : | 19th Women with Disabilities Day |
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 744, s. 2004, the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) will lead the annual Women with Disabilities Day (WWD) Celebration on March 27, 2023.
With the theme “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society, the event aims to push the needs of Women with Disabilities among other marginalized groups to lead and promote societal reform geared toward their empowerment and full participation in all human endeavors.
To promote public awareness in the observance of the event, all government agencies are encouraged to undertake the following activities:
- Display of the 19th WWD official streamer (streamer design template can be downloaded at the NCDA website, www.ncda.gov.ph); and,
- Initiate/conduct fitting activities that aligned with this year’s theme.
