Government leaders and human resource (HR) practitioners will gather for the 2019 Public Sector HR Symposium on 24 to 26 July 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City to learn how to steer government agencies and build the capacities of civil servants toward realizing AmBisyon Natin 2040, which represents the Filipino people’s collective vision and aspirations.

With the theme “Moving Together Toward AmBisyon Natin 2040”, the symposium will showcase global trends and best practices in achieving People Centered, Clean, Efficient, and Effective Governance. This is one of the desired outcomes in the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022 which is critical to laying down the foundation for inclusive growth, a high-trust and resilient society, and a globally-competitive knowledge economy.

Participants in the event can expect to learn about 21st century leaders and HR’s skills and competencies, intensifying Public Service Values drive, promoting a culture of innovation and productivity, and harnessing technology to be globally competitive in today’s technology-driven and knowledge-intensive world.

The symposium will also include discussions on current measures to achieve seamless public service delivery and anti-corruption drives, enhancing administrative governance, engaging and empowering citizenry, Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery (EODB EGSD) Act, PRIME-HRM, Results-Based Performance Management, Public Finance Management, and other accountability systems.

Leaders and HR practitioners from both the public and private sectors are invited to attend the symposium. Interested participants should register online at csi.csc.gov.ph (under L&D Calendar), pay the registration fee of Php9,600.00 inclusive of training kit, snacks and lunch during the symposium, and Certificate of Participation for 16 hours of leadership and managerial training. Proof of payment must be submitted not later than 27 June 2019 for confirmation of slot.
