Registered examinees of the 4 August 2019 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in Region VI who were not able to take the exam may register for and take the CSE on 15 March 2020 for free, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced.

It can be recalled that, at that time, severe weather conditions and the Guimaras Strait tragedy led to the suspension of maritime trips from Guimaras to Iloilo and vice versa. While no suspension of the 4 August CSE-PPT was declared, a number of examinees from Region VI were not able to take the said exam.

Affected examinees must register with the CSC Regional or Field Office nearest them from 16 December 2019 to 15 January 2020.

They must personally submit the original of the I.D. card they presented during filing of application for the 4 August 2019 CSE-PPT, or any other accepted I.D. card which is preferably valid (not expired); or the original Application Receipt (with the original CSC Official Receipt, if available).

They may only be accommodated for the same level of examination they were supposed to take last 4 August 2019.

Moreover, they will only be given one chance to take the examination free of charge. Should they be unable to take the 15 March 2020 CSE-PPT, their examination fee and slot would be forfeited. No request for postponement or rescheduling will be entertained.

Affected examinees may inquire with CSC Regional Office VI in Iloilo City or any of CSC RO VI’s Field Offices for further inquiries or clarification. The directory of CSC Regional and Field Offices is available at www.csc.gov.ph/cscrod.
