The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is calling on changemakers to join the biggest gathering of leaders and human resource (HR) practitioners on 24 and 25 September 2024.
CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said the 2024 Leaders & HR Symposium (LHRS), which will be held both virtually and onsite at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, will provide opportunity for professional growth and networking for participants from both public and private sectors.
“The 2024 LHRS is tailored for HR professionals, organizational leaders, and anyone passionate about driving positive change in their institutions. Whether attending virtually or in person, this training is a great investment as participants will learn insights and strategies to elevate their organizations and advance their careers,” added Chairperson Nograles.
With the theme “Adapt Beyond Limits,” the 2024 LHRS is organized by the CSC’s training arm, Civil Service Institute. It is designed to equip HR practitioners and leaders with the latest trends and best practices in leadership, HR management (HRM), and organization development (OD).
The symposium will feature five hybrid plenary sessions on adaptability and change to be discussed by speakers and panel of industry leaders.
In addition, attendees will engage in six hybrid concurrent sessions that will provide a more focused and interactive platform for in-depth discussions on specialized topics related to leadership, HRM, and OD.
The LHRS will also showcase exhibit from the CSC and partner institutions including Australia Awards, Business Maker Academy, Human Capital Asia, BusinessCoach, Inc. and Center for Innovation, Change and Productivity.
Participants who successfully complete the onsite/online course will receive a certificate of completion, acknowledging their accomplishment and granting them 16 leadership and managerial training hours.
The 2024 LHRS is part of the celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), constituting an integral component of the PCSA Week 4: Linggo ng Paglilinang ng Yamang Tao.
