ICLTE is part of the Department of Finance’s (DOF) Standardized Examination and Assessment for Local Treasury Service (SEAL) Program. An applicant must be a holder of the Local Treasurer Eligibility and must possess a bachelor’s degree on the date/time of filing of application. Individuals should personally file their applications at the CSC Regional Office (CSC RO) or at any of the CSC RO’s field offices, where they intend to take the examination.

The CSC Eligibility Card, which will serve as an official proof of civil service eligibility, is now initially available to passers of the 2015 Civil Service Examinations, this was announced yesterday by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The CSC added that the said eligibility card will specifically be available for passers of the May 3, 2015 Career Service Examination Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT); August 16, 2015 Fire Officer Examination; October 18, 2015 CSE-PPT; and December 6, 2015 CSE-PPT (except National Capital Region).

Passers of career service exams and other CSC-administered tests after 2015 will be issued a temporary Certification of Eligibility printed on CSC letterhead at no cost. They may also opt to apply for a regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has included two (2) new programming languages—C# and V.B.net.—in the list of proficiency tests or training courses which can be used as basis for the grant of Electronic Data Processing Specialist Eligibility (EDPSE).

The EDPSE is conferred to passers of the proficiency test, or passers of the training courses conducted by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), through the National ICT Competency Management Service (NCM). Existing proficiency tests or training courses conducted by the DICT as basis for the grant of EDPSE are Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Programming, Java, MS Access, and Visual Basic.

Clients are advised that work in the CSC Central Office, CSC NCR, CSC Regional Office IV (Panay Headquarters), CSC Regional Office III (RO Headquarters, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, and Zambales Field Offices) is suspended today, August 13, 2018, starting 12:01 p.m.

This work suspension will not, however, automatically cancel scheduled activities such as training programs and meetings with other government agencies.

More than 250,000 hopefuls are expected to take the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on 12 August 2018, Sunday, in various testing centers nationwide, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) reported.

This figure comprises the combined number of examinees of the Professional and Sub-Professional exam levels, who hope to pass the exams and consequently obtain a civil service eligibility which is one of the requirements to qualify for permanent appointment in government service.

The CSC advised examinees that school and room assignments may be generated using the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) starting 30 July. They may also inquire with the concerned CSC Regional/Field Office, in case they are unable to access ONSA or generate their school and room assignment.

Testing venues will open as early as 6 a.m. Gates will be closed to examinees at exactly 7:30 a.m. and those that will arrive late will no longer be admitted. Failure to take the examination shall mean forfeiture of examination fee and slot. Thus, examinees are urged to conduct an ocular visit of the school at least one day before the exam to check the exact location, travel route, travel time, availability of parking space, and other relevant information.
