The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced that 46,470 individuals, or 14.57% of the total examinees, passed the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held on 2 March 2025.

Of the successful examinees, 42,472 qualified for the Civil Service Professional eligibility, while 3,998 earned the Subprofessional eligibility.

To accommodate examinees nationwide, the CSC will administer the CSE-PPT in 95 testing centers across the country. The exam grants civil service eligibility for those seeking first- and second-level positions in government.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. CSC Regional or Field Offices may stop accepting applications before the deadline once their target number of examinees is reached.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has amended the education requirements for first level positions in the government, paving the way for graduates of the K to 12 Basic Education Program to qualify for government service.

The revisions now formally recognize Junior High School (Grade 10) and Senior High School (Grade 12) graduates under the K to 12 curriculum as eligible for first-level government positions.
