Dear Participant,

Welcome to the 2018 Public Sector HR Symposium!

For your proper guidance in attending this event, we are providing you with the following information:



-  Registration starts at exactly 7:00 o’clock in the morning of July 18, 2018.

-  Upon arrival at the venue, you are required to do the following:

  1.    Check your name at the Registration Area (Counter 1) and present your ID and Proof of Payment. Please do not forget to bring the duplicate copy of your DEPOSIT SLIP, BANK-VALIDATED LDDAP ADA or OFFICIAL RECEIPT. (For non-LBP eMDS enrolled agencies, proof of payment without clear bank-validation, showing time and date of the transaction, will not be accepted. More than the bank-received stamp, bank validation must be indicated.)

       2.       Claim your symposium kits at the Kits Distribution Area (Counter 3).


  1.    Select three (3) Concurrent Sessions you wish to attend on Day 2 and claim your Concurrent Sessions stubs (Counter 4) which will be presented at the entrance of the designated concurrent session rooms.


-  Should there be a need for further verification, participants are advised to proceed to HELP DESK.



-  Participants are encouraged to attend the Opening of the Exhibit Booths which will be held on July 18, 10:00 a.m. at the Pre-Function Lobby, SMX Convention Center, Lanang, Davao.  The exhibit will feature programs and services of Learning and Development Institutions.



- Opening Program for the 2018 Public Sector HR Symposium will start at 1:00 p.m. on July 18, 2018.  Plenary Sessions will be held at the SMX Function Rooms 1-3.  For Concurrent Sessions on July 19, 2018, participants will proceed to the  six (6) designated Concurrent Session Rooms (SM Cinemas 1-6, 2nd floor and SMX Function Room 3, 3rd floor) of SMX Convention Center, Lanang. Attached is the Symposium’s Programme.



-  Meals will be served on the following schedules and venue

-  After the last Plenary Session on Day 1, a Fellowship Dinner will follow at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  at the Plenary Hall, SMX Function Rooms 1-3.



-  You are encouraged to come in business attire.



-  Official receipts may be claimed from the Cashier Area (Counter 2) at the lobby from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on July 19, 2018 (Day 2).



-  A Certificate of Completion (with credits of 16 training hours in Leadership and Management) will be given only to participants who have been present during the 90% training hours of the Program and have made payments prior the event. Distribution of certificates starts at 10:00 o’clock in the morning of July 20, 2018.



-  The Registration Fee of P9,600.00 DOES NOT INCLUDE accommodation. You are advised to directly coordinate with the hotel of your choice.  You may want to refer to the attached list of hotel.
