Office of the Assistant Commissioner
The Office was initially tasked with the steering of the Task Forces of the important projects of the Commission on Qualification Standards and Performance Evaluation. This Office played significant roles on major activities/projects undertaken by the Commission.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS
ON QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Establishment of Qualification Standards for positions not included in the Revised Qualification Standards Manual (Positions in the National and Local Governments including IUG, GFI & GOCC)
  º Positions not covered by Qualification Standards Manual
  º Positions requested for revision of QS by agencies
Development of Policy Resolution on Qualification Standards
  º Review of existing policies on qualification standards of positions
  º Review/Update of positions covered by MC No. 11, s. 1996
Provides Technical Assistance to government clienteles through:
  º replies/opinions to queries;
  º conduct of consultative dialogues/round table conference/meetings; and job audits
  º conducts trainings/seminar workshops on updated policies on qualification standards and other Issues

Formulation of updated policies on performance evaluation system
Provides Technical Assistance to government clienteles through:
